Requirements for Tax Credit
  • At least four wheels
  • Powered through rechargeable traction battery
  • Battery has minimum of 4 kilowatt-hours of storage

  • Manufactured primarily for use on public streets and

    vehicles" or "LSV - low speed vehicles", such as the new
    Club Car LSV Villager 2+2 models
  • Purchased after February 17, 2009. Tax Credit for
    Vehicles acquired prior to December 31, 2009 is
    estimated at $4168.
  • If Acquired after December 31, 2009 and before
    January 2012- 10% of the cost of the vehicle
    (excluding tax and documentation fees). Maximum
    of $2500.00 credit
This extremely attractive Federal tax credit can be realized by
individuals, and for profit and as a pass through for not for
profit entities.
